My Makeup Collection

One of my favourite blog posts to read and videos to watch on YouTube are people’s makeup storage, their makeup collection or how they organise their dressing table. So I thought I would do my own post on my makeup. 

I purchased this organiser from 27Pinkx a while ago. I love it because it is perspex, it has 4 draws and a flip-lid at the top. Click here to view it on 27Pinkx.

At the top of the organiser, I keep my lipsticks, my makeup brushes and other random products that I use often. In this photo, I've got 2 Lush bath bombs - Yoga Bomb & Intergallactic & a Kingsley Heath fragrance. At the back, I've got my Soleil Tan De Chanel Sheer Illuminating Fluid. I like to keep my makeup brushes in little jars, just because it looks  neat and fits perfectly. My lipstick holder is from 27Pinkx. You can view it here.

My favorite lipsticks from my collection would have to be Shanghai Spice by Mac & Tom Ford lipstick in Richard. I've swatched both the lipsticks below with Shanghai Spice on top: 

I keep all my eye shadow palettes in my second draw (the single eye shadows are kept in a separate box). My favorite palettes are definitely the Urban Decay Naked Smokey & Stila Eyes are the Window Palette in the color Mind. 

In the third draw, I keep all my face powders like blushers, bronzers and contour kits. My favorite one has got to be the ABH Powder Contour Kit. 

Pictured below is a picture of my favorite loose powder by Laura Mercier. I use this as a highlighter and it is so magical! Obsessed. 

I keep all my foundations and concealers in my fourth draw. My favorite drugstore foundation is definitely the L'oreal Infallible Foundation. But my all time favorite will always be the Mac Studio Fix Fluid in the color NC 37!

Pictured above is the Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer in the color St. Moritz Medium1. It is so light on the skin and gives about light to medium coverage. 

Below is the Mac Matchmaster Concealer in the color 7.5. I use this to contour because it's so creamy and blends like a dream! 

In my last draw, I keep moisturizers & primers and other miscellaneous items like eyelash curlers and lip pencils that I hardly ever use, although my favorite lip liner is Mac - Subculture. 

This Urban Decay Primer Potion is my favorite eyeshadow primer! It keeps my eyeliner from smudging and my eyeshadow in place throughout the day. So happy they're launching in SA soon! 

Below is a photo of body shimmer from L'occitane that I keep in my fifth draw. It smells amazing and makes your skin look so magical. Perfect for anytime of day! Love it. 

And that's it for my makeup draws! The boxes I keep my single eye shadows and mascaras are from H&M Home. It has a marble pattern on it and everything fits perfectly.

My favorite eye shadows from this box is the Mac Barbie eyeshadow in the color Beautyburst and the Inglot Pure Pigment eyeshadow in the color 24. I've swatched both of them below with the Inglot pigment on top:
